Dramatic deep-fluted columns run the full height of this commanding pillar kaandle, their sharp vertical lines evoking the grand facades of the Hofburg Palace and Vienna State Opera. Between the columns, richly sculpted organic relief panels emerge — soft, expressive forms that contrast beautifully against the rigid architectural lines, a sumptuously organic melding of contrast. 

When set alight the specially formulated wax allows the flame to cast light deep into the fluted grooves, creating a play of shadow and illumination that brings every carved detail into sharp, mesmerizing relief — like candlelight flickering through the corridors of an imperial ballroom.
